It is essential to stay consistent as directed with your products to see the results you’re longing for. Make sure you are cleansing morning and night - makeup or no makeup. Apply your serums as directed, as most of them are most effective when applied daily or twice daily.
2. Wear Sunscreen Daily
Sun being the leading cause for visible signs of aging, wearing sunscreen is vital when preventing premature lines, wrinkles, age spots, hyperpigmentation, redness and melanoma. When spending time outdoors, taking other precautions such as wearing sun hats, seeking shade and reapplying sunscreen every two hours is important. Even in the colder months, UV rays can still penetrate through clouds. UV rays can also reflect off of the bright, white snow, making those in climates with snow at risk for sun damage.
3. Wash Your Face Before The Gym
If you are wearing makeup throughout the day, you should be washing your face before the gym. Sweat can trap makeup inside the pore, leading to breakouts. And of course, wash your face after the gym to wash away any sweat or bacteria from the gym. Side note: don’t touch your face to avoid spreading harmful bacteria to your skin.
4. The Golden Rule Of 60 Seconds
For any cleanser to work its magic, you need to gently cleanse your face with your hands for 60 seconds. Cleansing your face for 60 seconds allows the ingredients in the cleanser to actually work, as well as allowing the cleanser to break up dirt, oil, and impurities.

Items like our phones, makeup brushes and pillow cases harbor bacteria and touch our faces every day. Cleaning your makeup brushes and pillow cases at least once a week and sanitizing your phone daily can do wonders for reducing the risk of breakouts.
